SCHOOLGIRL Nadia Muir couldn’t believe her luck when she met world champion boxer Anthony Joshua on the street were she lives.

Nadia Muir, 9, was coming home from school with mum Yuliya yesterday (Thursday) when they saw a film crew outside the Finchley & District Amateur Boxing Club, on Bulwer Road, East Barnet.

The world champ was inside doing a fashion shoot for his sponsors Under Armour following his super heavyweight victory over Vladimir Klitschko on Saturday night.

Yuliya said as soon as Nadia found out what was going on she wanted to go home to get a paper and pen in the hope of an autograph.

She said: “We came back and waited around 35 minutes and they told us when he was coming out.

"He stopped the car in the driveway and wound down his window down for the kids. Nadia’s knees were shaking! She was thrilled to have met someone who is the best in the world at something - and who trained down our road!”

"Josh," who is originally from Watford, moved to London when he was seventeen and was introduced to the club by his cousin around a year later.
