TWO men have been arrested following a fail-to-stop collision in which a cyclist died.

The men, aged 19 and 22, were arrested on Monday (February 6) on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and failing to stop at the scene of a collision.

Both were bailed pending further enquires to a date in late March.

Anita Szucs suffered fatal injuries when her bike was crushed by a car at 1:45am in Bounces Road, Edmonton, near the junction with Exeter Road, close to her home.

Detectives continue to investigate and her next of kin have been informed.

The car which failed to stop at the scene has since been located.

Detectives from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit based at Chadwell Heath are appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision to come forward and speak to them.

Anyone with information or who witnessed the collision is asked to contact officers on 020 8597 4874, via Twitter @MetCC or by contacting Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
